MAN Technical Courses

  • H – B Electrical (Part I) Only HB 2 – 4 Buses & TEPS (Twin Electrical Platform Systems) – 4 Days
  • H – B Electrical (Part II) Only HB 2 – 4 Buses & TEPS (Twin Electrical Platform Systems)**  – 3 Days
  • Basics of engine overhaul procedures (D20) HB 4’s (70% theory & 30% practical) – 4 Days
  • Axles front, and rear diff’s. (All MAN axles including 300’s and HB4’s) – 2 Days
  • EDC 7 (Electronic Diesel Control 7) basics and introduction for D20 engines (HB4) – 4 Days
  • EDC 7 (Electronic Diesel Control 7) Advanced diagnostics for D20 engines (HB4) – 4 Days
  • H – B Bus basics and maintenance (Maintenance & servicing of buses) (On the job) – 4 Days
  • Basic brake system and EBS5 (Electronic Brake Systems) – 4 Days
  • ECAS 2 (Electronic Controlled Air Suspension) on HB4 buses – 3 Days
  • ECO Team training. (Breakdown fault finding & breakdown repairs) – 3 Days
  • MAN CATS – III Basic and Advanced (All bus Diagnostics with CATS III laptop) – 4 Days

  • Basic Electricity in the workplace (E1) – 1 module

Course 2 ( 1 Day)

  • Bench Grinding machine (BGM) – 2 modules
  • Electric angle grinder (EAG) – 1 module

Course 3 (3 Days)

  • Oxy – Acetylene Equipment (ODE) – 4 modules
  • Oxy – Acetylene Processes (OXY) – 3 modules
  • Gas metal arc welding (GMAW) – 3 modules
  • Braze & Braze welding (BBW) – 2 modules

Course 4 (3 Days)

  • Welding Joints & Symbols (WJS) (Read engineering drawings) – 2 modules
  • Shielded Metal Stick Arc Welding (SMAW) – 3 modules
  • Metal Welding materials ALL (MWM) – 3 modules
  • Tungsten Inert Gas Welding (TIG) – 4 modules

Other Welding & Body building courses

  • Sika Flex procedures  – 1 Day
  • Spray painting and minor body repairs. (We send the guy’s to Balco @ no charge) – 5 Days
  • Trade test preparation & Pre – Screening (Petrus & Body shop assist Mr Goosen here) – 2 or 5 Days
